Manage appliance profiles

An optional appliance profile specifies a combination of logging configuration, software update schedules, and appliance configuration options that you can assign to appliances.

This can be useful, for example, for assigning different logging levels or software update schedules to different appliances (or groups of appliances).

Before you create an appliance profile, you must have at least one logger configuration and/or device update schedule.

You must also do the following:

  • Specify HTTP/S proxy settings (to download image files from the Docker Registry and Snap Store) to indicate the route by which the Minion Appliance accesses the images from those locations.

  1. Navigate to Appliances → Appliance Profiles and click Add New.
